This campground is great, the amenities are very nice and cleaned. The free wifi it's not the greatest, not a strong signal, but we like to unplug so didn't worry about it. The site was not flat at all, we could not get our motorhome leveled with our hydraulics. There was also a ditch close to the spot, so we had to be careful when we backed "Lizzie" up. That's the only con we could find from this place, we will definitely stay there again at some point.

We stayed here in August 2020 and it is probably the cleanest campgrounds we stayed at all season. Very spacious site, had a creek running about 15 feet from the camper and had another 30feet past that to the next RV. Allows for a nice volleyball / Badminton area! 10/10 for this site and Resort!

We specifically reserved the site we are due to its depth with our longer rig. We came in on a Sunday and while the checkin process was very pleasant, we drove all the way to our site only to realize it was occupied. Tried calling the check-in folks immediately, but of course the number they left on the check in sheet went unanswered. Folks finally started packing up the site after we told them that we were in 5D. 35 minutes later, we were able to get into our spot. Dish/DirecTV isn’t going to work in this spot. Spot is spacious. We’d return for sure, but with the amount of employees seemingly cruising around on golf carts, you’d think they would enforce checkout time, especially for sites in which there are people coming in that day. Frustrating start to what was an otherwise pleasant week.

What a disappointment! I should have suspected this was not all milk and cookies when the gentleman who took us to our site (apparently employees are exempt from the stated speed limit, based upon how he and other staff zipped around) and has us pull straight into our pull-through site before telling us all the hookups were on the other side! So we pulled out and carefully navigated around another road and entered the site with the hookups on the same side as on our coach.
CAUTION! Even though we are in a 31’ Class C towing a VW Beetle on a tow dolly, the park has tight turns and LOTS of trees to look out for.
The long mostly level site had a concrete pad and patio. For reasons passing understanding, the heavy picnic table was on the site next to us, and when we called the office at 4:00, it was closed so we left a voice mail and hope a couple of staff show up to move onto OUR patio. The previous occupants of this slip were clearly a partying group, as evidenced by the confetti, candy wrappers, and other trash left behind for us.
But the clear winner in the disappointment department was the mens bathrooms. Out of the three shower stalls, I chose the one with the least amount of mold and bad grout. Unfortunately it also had no water pressure and no hot water. The next least disgusting stall had lots of hot water and plenty of pressure. At least the shower stalls didn’t have dead insects in them, like the sinks.
No cable, WiFi useless and five on-air channels came in on our amplified antenna. There is no shortage of unsupervised children around and plenty of golf carts too. Not what I expected for $70/night.
Such a disappointment, given how beautiful the location is. Will not be back (I know - you guessed that!)

We came in on a Sunday in October and the campground was half full. By Monday there were maybe 10 campers and it felt as though we had the entire campground to ourselves. It was wonderful. But by Thursday, people started rolling in which we were happy about. Though it was nice having the whole place to ourselves, we welcomed the company. By Friday, the entire campground was full and people were decorating their golf carts for the golf cart parade that night. Campers were also setting up their haunted houses or themed camps for the trick or treaters which was to take place Saturday night. It was a site to see and it was all so much fun. That is likely why people have mentioned all the candy wrappers on the ground. Booking this campground was actually by accident because we meant to be closer to Louisville but it was the best mistake I’ve ever made. We will definitely be coming back here in October to partake in the Halloween festivities again. Just make sure to book early and reserve your golf cart!

Campground was PACKED when we arrived Saturday. We have a 44ft fifth wheel. We had a pull-through spot and could see the Wildebeast from our spot. Could hear the music too which was cool. Sunday we visited Holiday World and used the shuttle to get there. It was a quick ride over and was super convenient. You get dropped off right at the front so the line to get in is short and it’s nice to not have to stand in the line that goes under the road from the parking lots. Picks up right there too. Super easy getting back. We could see our camper from our seats at the Bakuli wave pool.
Sunday the campground was EMPTY. We only used the bathhouse once but it was really clean. Overall a pretty good stay!
ETA: I accidentally uploaded a picture that has NOTHING to do with Lake Rudolph and I can’t seem to delete it :/ I’ll let you all guess which one :)
