“minutes to some of the best beaches in California”
This park is clean and friendly, close to freeway and some noise because of it, but makes up for it by it's great location. A few minutes to some of the best beaches in California and very close to downtown. The manager Judy is also extremely helpful and accommodating. Enjoy your Santa Barbara excursion!

Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on August 29, 2023We stayed here during admitted students weekend at Westmont College. The folks were very nice and helpful -- I can't stress this part enough. We had great advice on how to get to the park and how to get around Santa Barbara. The grounds are super clean and well maintained. Sites are close together, and the park is right next to US 101.
This is not our typical style of camping. We stayed here as a practical matter to save money on accommodations for an event rather than a vacation holiday. If we needed to overnight on our way through, we would not hesitate to stay here.

If you want to be in Santa Barbara this is the place to be. It’s expensive for what you get (which is essentially just the site and the best WIFI we’ve had in any park) and there is not much to it - but you cannot beat the location. The park is 3/4 of a mile walk/run/bike ride to East Beach, close to Montecito, and close to State Street.
The park is small, but definitely has room for bigger rigs as we have a 38’ fifth wheel and we fit fine (we had a pull through site, although Terry said they normally put bigger rigs in the back end sites). As they say on their website, you are right on the highway and you can hear the traffic.
The husband and wife park managers, Terry and Debbie are super friendly and very helpful!
The park is bare bones - just your site on gravel with a picnic bench. You do not go to this park for its amenities. You go to this park purely because you want to be in Santa Barbara.
Website has good directions for getting to the park.

Standard side by side no privacy park. Full hook-ups. Nice staff. We had an electrical glitch that left us without power for one day then we plugged into adjacent site pedestal. We would stay again as it is pretty convenient for exploring SB. Don’t expect anything but hook-ups and you won’t be disappointed. The roadways were narrow and tight. We managed in a 30 foot trailer with TV but it was dicey. This park is right off the freeway so traffic noise is present. We did not use bathrooms or laundry.

Super cramped spaces. I have to admire how they manage the space to fit so many RVs in this little corner hidden below the highway ramp. It’s truly amazing how they are able to fit some big rigs too. Needless to say you can pretty much aware of your neighbors presence all the time. There’s so much noise you’d feel like you’re sleeping on highway shoulders - you are probably just 10 feet from it anyway with a wall separating. Location is very convenient - minutes of driving away from the zoo and east beach and that’s the major upside. Staff are friendly and helpful.

This park is centrally located in SB, with flat gravel sites, coin laundry on site, and friendly employees! It is next to the freeway, so not quiet, but so easy to get around!

Contactless check in due to covid which we very much appreciated. Picked up our packet and space assignment paperwork outside of office and was greeted with a warm welcome. Manager backed us in and told us about the area and how to walk to the beach. Full service hook up. Easy on and off the freeway. Highway noise during the day but quiet overnight. Very pleasant stop would return if ever in the area.

We were hesitant at first from working remote by being so close to the highway, but the tall wall that separates the highway and the park works very well. We ended up extending our stay because it worked out so well.
Wifi and AT&T cell service worked great overall. Video calls were inconsistent so hotspotted those calls, but streaming and email and search worked just fine.
Very close to neighbors and a tight fit, but the city has so much to offer, we didn't need to spend much time at the RV park so were fine with cramped space. Great owners and really nice and accommodating staff. Management helped us park. Laundry conveniently on site and worked really well. $1.50 wash and $1.00 dry.
Trader Joes .7 mi away; walkable to the waterfront and biking lanes and trails all around.

If you're a beachgoer, this spot gives you close access. Even though it's an older park, they keep it clean and the management is friendly. It's a small park and not all sites are suitable for trailers. The negative could be that it's freeway-close. I mean close. 101 is just beyond the wall. The sound didn't really bother us, but it may for anyone who places 'quiet' high on their list.
