Confirmed by 4 users | Last reported on July 14, 2021Nice campground with a great old play scape for kids. Not secluded, but the freeway note was minimal after dark. Easy to get to.
The front office staff is super nice. This is a typical campground. The only downside is that it is right by a highway, so we heard a lot of cars and trucks all night. Not a bad place, though.
We stayed here because we spent 2 days at Cedar Point. Its about 15 min drive so very easy to get to the parks from here. Not a bad place. Packed but it was the time of year that we expected it to be. RV sites are really close together but we had some great people on either side of us so made it good. Showers were decent and for the most part everything was good. We would stay again for sure.

Only ding to this place is the amount of trees and some spots are hard to navigate into for anyone with larger RV.
Staff are amazing. We were here on 4 the of July weekend and it was very busy. Tent sights were packed but everyone was having a great time.
Large play area for kids, two pools that were standing room only, more cabins than I've ever seen.
No cable and must spots probably can't get satellite because is the trees. Antenna reception hit and miss but ok.
WiFi good.
They have all you can eat pancakes everyday for$4.50.

Second generation owner who’s father planted a lot of trees which made the temperature cooler. Difficulty maneuvering into some sites. Most sites are grass, lots of cabins and two pools. Close to Cedar Point without the high prices. Enjoyed our stay

We picked this place because staying 3 nights here was cheaper than 1 night at cedar points On site RV Park.
The sites are grass with trees sprinkled about which made it hard to figure out what angle to park at. There were a lot of puddles and mud when we were there even though it didn’t rain during our stay.
The power boxes, water and sewer are at the back of your site so make sure to have long hoses and cords.
We mostly just slept here and spent the days in Cedar Point so did not take advantage of the amenities but they had pools, pedal carts, bunnies, pancake breakfasts, karaoke and more. The camp store also sells firewood and other basics.
There are a lot of tent campers and people staying in the cabins and a lot of kids running around- quiet hours seemed to be nonexistent during our stay.
The bathrooms/showers have seen better days but are functional.
I’d recommend getting a pull thru spot as they are on the edge overlooking a field and have a little more privacy and view.

We stayed here for 2 nights just to go to Cedar Point. This campground is fairly cramped, and definitely has a semi rundown summer camp vibe. I would not come here for any other reason than as a home base to go to Cedar Point (15 mins away), but it was good enough for that purpose. Tons of kids, fairly old facilities and hookups, but it all worked fine. Mixture of RVs, tent campers, and rented cabins.

This Campground has the KOA feel without the price! The lots are closer together than I would like but they are still nice. I did water and electric only, and used the bath house showers. The bath house could do with some renovations/upgrades but it gets the job done. It is very quiet on weekdays but can be packed during the weekend. I spoke with the owner a few times, he is a nice man and very helpful.
There is a cat that was wondering the campground the entire time we stayed there, If you see him, we have unofficially named him Steve, he likes to find shade and lay in it and hopes you provide him with food.

We were traveling through the area mid week and it was a good place to stop and spend the night with AC power.
The rate we paid was with the Passport america discount.
The camp site was on a grass surface, the water pressure and AC power at the site was good. The sewer hook up was okay, a pipe below the surface with a plug.
The site was very shaded.
The bad, the park is very close to a highway off ramp, it was loud with jack brakes and harleys all night. The shower house, it was clean and had plenty of warm water, but it is on par with a shower house at a scout camp. very little privacy, cement floors and block walls.
Full price would have been far to expensive for this campground.

We stayed here on our summer roadtrip with our stop being for our teen son and his thrill seeking aunt and uncle to go to the famous CedarPoint Amusement Park. Overall, this campground was pretty average. The benefit was it's location and access off the main road. We have a 40' fifth wheel and initially they put us in a very tight spot and we could not back in with a tree at either side of the entry points and 1 directly across from us. So we asked to move, and they moved us to a much more open site. All sites were grass (which really stunk since it rained much of the time we were there). We had full hook-ups for 50amp at site 48 and it was right across the road from the 1 pool. It advertises 2 pools, but at this time, the 2nd pool was empty. The pool was not heated...so very chilly. This campground is very tight for bigger rigs to drive around. As far as the price, I think it is extremely high for what the campground has. It is a Passport America campground and that's the reason we chose it because were able to stay there for about $40 a night. If you are not a Passport America member and also going to CedarPoint, I would probably stay at CedarPoint and do their campground package. Overall, it would be ok to stay again or okay for a stop over. We give it 3 stars.
