“craft beers on tap”
An internationally known, legendary destination in San Francisco, the Haight is the birthplace of Rosamunde Sausage Grill in 1998. Our Haight Street location sits next door to Toronado beer bar, the single most important Bar for the craft beer movement, propelling SF to the forefront in the early days of the ‘80s. Our sausages are made to feed the craft beer drinker. Locals and tourists alike order their sausage and enjoy them next door at the bar! And have you tried Burger Tuesday?
This Tuesday-only burger ($6.50) is a standby. The smoky, char-heavy patty tastes of backyard barbecues, but better; toppings include cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, and ketchup and mustard.
When it comes to San Francisco artisanal sausage, we're still obsessed with the offerings ($6.50 to $7) at Rosamunde. There's really no bad order here. All of the sausages—from the classic smoked beer version to the rich, sweet duck and fig—are snappy, juicy and served on freshly toasted buns. Make it a meal with a side of mustard-heavy German potato salad ($3.75).
