“tastes and culture of Senegal”
We celebrate the tastes and culture of Senegal in San Francisco's well-known Mission District. Since the doors opened in 1997, we've been sharing our love for friends, food and music with delicious plates, homemade juices, and nightly events from around the world. Our name is a tribute to the meaningful symbol of life, community, and culture in Africa -- the baobab. At the restaurant we bring together a multicultural community sharing in celebration, dance, and food.
Hands down the best night of dancing in my life. Unbelievable senegalese restaurant that turns up at night with a DJ and tons of community members who come out to dance. Occasionally a cover charge for the Saturday dance nights. I can't speak to the food but the bar met my standards of hydration.
