“historic cable cars in action!”
The San Francisco cable car system is the world's last manually operated cable car system. An icon of San Francisco, California, the cable car system forms part of the intermodal urban transport network.
A SanFran must-do. $6 for a one-way ticket, exact change only. Hold on to your ticket stub, if you get caught riding without one you can be subject to a $75 fine. Don't miss the Cable Car Museum to really appreciate how the cars work.
The cable cars were just awesome to ride on. Easy way to get around the city and even better to see parts of what the city has to offer. A must do when visiting.
very nice but not free, you need to find a parking and pay for the ride.
you can have the price on there web site.
There is a free museum at the hub. You can see the cables from all 4 lines as they pass through the building as well as several exhibits showing the history and how they work
This is a must for anyone visiting The city. Many locals use this transportation every day.
