Ocean Beach International Hostel

we’ve been a big part of Ocean Beach life for 20 years, formerly known as Ocean Beach International Hostel or OBI, for short. The spirit and fun, the crazy colorful paint job and the famous peace sign still remain, but the inside is shiny new, complete with USA Hostels‘ signature ‘privacy pods’, new mattresses and linens, secure, clean accommodations, and new patio chill out space. All you need when you stay with us is a swimsuit and sunscreen – we loan free beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, mats, Frisbees and paddle ball sets. We even have coolers to keep those beach beverages icy cold. Wanna try out surfing? We have surfboards and body boards for a low rental cost. Our FREE shuttle to the most popular San Diego tourist spots also helps make us the best hostel value. Running four days a week we drop off at SeaWorld, the San Diego Zoo and our sister hostel in the heart of the Gaslamp District. We even do an airport drop off and twice a week hit La Jolla cove.
