“restaurant in a cargo container!”
This restaurant is ironically housed in two converted cargo containers and serves up sandwiches. It is a pretty unique concept, and wouldn't work unless the food was awesome, which it is, so make sure to not speed by this easy to miss spot.
Don't underestimate the Luxury!! It is totally cool, and has awesomely creative sandwich combos. Walk around the river after--you're on the quieter part of the stretch that heads to the Pearl Brewery to the north and the bustling riverwalk to the south.
Are here over the weekend and had to post a review. Love that this place has outdoor seating available, making this a pet friendly place. Their plate options have WEIRD ingredient combinations but once you try them all you can do is thank whoever created it. Tried the fried plantain with black bean and crema (nice combination of sweet and salty), the milanesa (good looking sandwich), their corn and hearts of palm salad was really tasty and lime-y (yum), and their plantain, black bean, egg sandwich (sorry forgot the name): this sandwich looked hefty big and for the price it's great. Nice beer selection too!
Place appears to be completely gone. It's currently a construction site with nothing to see but really disgusting bathrooms.
Very cool - great fun. Excellent food, beer and wine choices. Outdoor dining only.
