“step into history”
Peek into a covered wagon like those used by thousands of pioneers. Climb into an immigrant's ship bunk. View an 1847 log home to discover what frontier living quarters were like. Relive Brigham Young's 1847 pioneer trek, see an original 1830 Book of Mormon, and enjoy fine art from around the world.
Not being LDS myself I didn't inspect every single item in this extensive museum. But I enjoyed walking through and looking at the historical items. The art area has many lovely creations that I especially liked.
If you're interested in the history of the LDS church and Mormon pioneers, this is a fantastic place to visit.
