There are two separate parks adjacent to each other and many full time residents. It's not the nicest neighborhood either - and there's not a lot of food within walking distance unless you want the junk variety. Office is open late which is a plus. Bathrooms are modern and very clean. There is a MH wash next door which is convenient. Not the best KOA - but not the worst either.
Friendly staff and park is maintained. It appears their putting in a fire pit soon which will be a bonus. We took our bulldogs and they enjoyed the doggie park. Overall nice RV stop!
KOA does it again! This campground in the heart of Salt Lake City creates an illusion of isolation be a high, greenery covered wall surrounding the compound. Amenities abound and the only drawback we experienced was that the gas fire pits where we’d planned to roast marshmallows was non-functional. Friendly staff, 24hr security, and multiple fast food joints nearby make this a wonderful place to create a home base from which to explore SLC.
Very friendly staff, well maintained park and very convenient if you are traveling on I-80. However, it isn't in a very nice neighborhood. I was hoping to walk around after we got in but didn't feel it was safe. Also, they do advise you to double lock your bikes when staying there.
I loved this campground. Often, urban campgrounds are parking lots with no character. The Salt Lake KOA has mature trees providing shade, a lovely pool and hot tub and great laundry facilities. It is conveniently located to area attractions with easy on/off the interstate. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Salt Lake City. And, the Farmers Market on Saturday mornings is just a couple miles away and fills a whole city park. It was wonderful.

We didn't find anything not to like about this park. There was plenty of space between units and for coming and going. Pads are concrete with a grassy area in between. The laundry room had quite a few washers/dryers with the washers at $2/load and the dryers .25/7 minutes. There are lots of amenities, games, a pool, a hot tub, 2 restaurants. The pizza place was fantastic, we didn't try the Mexican place though we heard it was great. We were here for the Halloween weekend and they had a trunk or treat for the kids. It's pretty convenient to just about anywhere in/around Salt Lake City. Ok, we do have one complaint, the AT&T signal was pretty poor. Other than that we would definitely stay here again.

The campground is large and well situated between the airport and downtown. Any amenity is within a few minutes of driving and the light rail station is right across the street. The pull through sites are quite big and easy to get in and out of. People are friendly and helpful. Verizon signal was strong.

Great location but we arrived to a gross site. Piles of dog poop (5) and a bunch of cigarette butts. Also, the site was extremely small for our rig. Bigger sites available so pretty frustrating. They did come clean the site at our request but for almost $80 a night we shouldn't have had to ask. We won't be back.

We had not planned at staying at any RV camp grounds on our stay, but we also wanted to visit Salt Lake City and there were no close by dispersed campgrounds open at this time of year. We made the decision to stay here after calling and receiving such friendly service.
Driving to the site, and where the site is located, was a little worrying at first. It was a very industrial area with a lot of homelessness and quality of life issues going on. This, in my mind, did not bode well for where we were going. However, we were pleasantly surprised with the site, the cleanliness, the friendly staff, and friendly people staying there.
We were able to use the hot tub, but the pool was not yet open for the season. They had a cool arcade room with some old school arcade games in there, which both the adults and kids loved. The toilets and showers were kept very clean and you had 24 hour access to them with the coded doors.
They also must have security or a good police presence in the area, as I had walked around at different hours of the night and never saw anyone there that didn't belong. I did hear yelling coming from the neighboring vacant lot one night, but that was not the KOA's issue or fault.

1st off, it even says it in their brochure, you cant hang your flag, we missed that when we got there. im a retired sailor and i cant hang my AMERICAN flag off the back of my 5th wheel, there was a man a few rows down that tried and within an hour, the front office was there and told him to take it down, 2nd. they over charged me by 30 bucks per night, the office said $60.63 and they charged me $90.63, talked to a few other campers there and yep, they paid the $60.00, i had to extend my stay there for 2 days, went the day before, talked to a heavy set girl, told her i needed to extend for 2 days and i wanted my military discount, she said OK, the older lady behind her said we don't give that anymore, they argued right in front of me and 3 other customers, i walked out, the next day i called and asked for my extension for 2 days and my military discount and was charged the regular price $60.00, so i was over charged $30.00 x 4,and they wouldn't do anything, 3rd, the cable gets alot of channels you just cant watch then, they are all fuzzy, i complained about that and they said there was nothing they could do the laundry room floor hasn't been swept in a long time. i will never stay at this place again. i have made a complaint to the main office also,
