This is a travelers KOA. Our traveling practice is to stay two days when we stop. So, we have watched this campground fill and then empty. It is a very nice KOA, just not a destination. This is not a huge park, I would call for availability.
Check-in was easy and friendly with the owners in a really well stocked camp store. There were souvenirs, as well as lots of basic RV supplies. The grocery selection was the basics, but still fresh and attractive. I was able to buy milk which is always my litmus test of a good camp store.
The sites were very neat and clean with well placed utilities. There was a picnic table and shade at the sites, neighbors were close but not imposing.
Cable was 65 clear channels with no hassle. Wi-Fi bogged down sometimes but over all was good.
The roads and sites are gravel, but all around is lush grass. The trees and lawns are verdant and surround the children's playground and a clean and well maintained pool. There are lots of benches, tables and chairs in the green space. There is even a small catch 'n release pond just for kid's fun.
A "Nature Trail" has been cut into a bordering woods that offered extensive walks because it was cut as a labyrinth with paths going in every direction. "Weren't we just here?"
The laundry looked very nice, clean and well equipped.
The real "knockout" were the bathrooms. They are outstanding, or maybe that is astounding. They look brand new and are done in stone tiles and marble, with designer fixtures. The lighting, mirrors, and basin shine. It goes without saying that bathroom and showers were also meticulously clean. These are really pleasant and comfortable bathrooms.
We are headed West and doubled back twenty miles for this campground.
It was a worthwhile detour. We camped at Sallisaw / Fort Smith West KOA in a Motorhome.
Stayed overnight at Sallisaw- fort smith west KOA . absolute market called the office post and owner were amazingly sweet and helpful. I campground is clean quiet and everything you need. It was December when We stayed so couldn’t used the pool 😆 5 star quickly and more
This is our second time driving across country with our camper and both times we stopped at this KOA. We loved it the first time because the bathrooms were so nice. It was raining so we couldn’t do much else. This time we made it a point to get here early to have time to play. They have a decent size swimming pool with a large shade canopy over half the pool which was amazing since it was very hot out and we have little ones. The added a jumping pillow since we were last here and the kids loved it. There is also a small playground, kayaks for rent, and bikes for rent. The people that work there are very friendly! Sites are well maintained. It is a gravel site with grass in between and the tent spots have sand. They also have food options and a small convenience store. This is my favorite KOA and I will always stop here on my way to California.
Husband and I took a spontaneous 1000 mile vacation with just our hammocks. Found a site with the perfect trees. Staff was very nice on the phone, and the women's bathroom was beautiful! Pretty cool little spot.
We first pulled our 42 ft coach into site 17... The power was so low our coach would not connect.
We pulled forward into site 4 and plugged in and it did accept the plug in however the coach told me that Leg 1 only had 104 VAC... Leg 2 had 117VAC. The power was all over the board.. Caution staying here with sensitive electronics etc.... The acknowledged they had the power company out a few weeks ago to check the incoing power.. My guess is the park is wired wrong.. Maybe 30 Amp service will be ok... Nice folks but they have a problem..

The staff was extremely nice and energetic. The sites are just average spacing. I had a premium site due to a problem with my reservation but didn't have to pay the additional $15.00. If the weather was nicer, the premium site for the additional cost could possibly be worth it. It would include grill and patio table and chairs, and a large front yard. It was completely booked during my stay so may have to make reservations if coming on weekend. Other amenities, include a pool, fishing pond, volleyball court and playground. There is pizza as a lunch or dinner menu option.
If you are into lodging at cabins, there are two deluxe cabins that looked very nice. One mother I asked, said she thought it was definitely worth the price for the loft style cabin. The regular style KOA cabins overlook the fishing pond.
I use a surge protector and did not notice any electrical issues and most were running A/C so don't know if they fixed it.

Beautiful tree lined spots with plenty of room for us. A little tight between rigs but have been in much worse. Great dog park with lots of room for pups. Many short trails in park. Nice pool, playground, fishpond, volleyball court. They have pizza for lunch or dinner. Showers were great as well as nice laundry room. They pick up trash for you too. Beautiful cabins for rent. Also a few delux spots have wooden patios with fire pit, table and chairs and BBQ. Great WiFi.
Not a lot to do in town right across highway but has Walmart as well as a few restaurants.

We stayed one night, September 30th, in a Class B. The owners/staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the bathhouse was very clean and laid out ergonomically -- pleasant change as I wasn't crammed into a tiny shower.

We stayed one night in our camper van. Very friendly and helpful owner (he was the reason we decided to join KOA). The bathhouse was clean, and the shower were roomy and immaculate.
