Busick Court Restaurant

If you're in Salem at breakfast time and you're going out to eat, this place is one of the givens. There's always a wait. Those two things go together. The wait is worth it. Sassy Onion and Word of Mouth, along with this place, fairly well own the breakfast market in this town. Busick has some pretty cool architecture to admire while you wait--the gigantic old propane lanterns are neat to look at. There's a lot of brick everywhere, and there's even a courtyard out back, justifying the name.  The staff are very friendly and cool, and they're always in motion, getting things done.  The dining room itself is fairly small, and they pack it to the gills with tables and chairs in hopes of reducing the wait time. They roll out lunch menus alongside the breakfast menus, just in case you're feeling liminal about meal timing.
