“voted Salem's best pub”
Welcome to In a Pig's Eye Restaurant, voted Salem's best pub, located on the historical walking trail near the House of the Seven Gables. We are a friendly neighborhood restaurant offering lunch & dinner six days a week as well as our famous Sunday Brunch. You can also hear local musicians weekly, view our revolving art exhibits or attend our seasonal theatrical Sunday night performances. We happily takes reservations.
It is no longer In A Pig's Eye, but there is one of the original stain glass windows displayed there. It is now Mercy Tavern. The menu was limited, but delicious! Our waiter was kind and attentive. Amazing artwork in the hall with the bathrooms! We enjoyed it.
Amazing pulled pork gyro with cucumber slaw.
Excellent food and band - we went on a Friday evening about 6pm and sang along with a huge crowd to amazing musicians. Love this little pub - my favorite in Salem.
We pretty much have the place to ourselves, save for a few locals at the bar. And then other started trickling in once we began to eat. Very welcoming place, seems like everyone knows your name. The meet is very good, make sure to slather on some of that house barbecue sauce! Little bit pricey but I love a place that serves my drink in a mason jar.
