The FunkYard on Route 66 is located in Uranus Missouri
JRaz is right, a great place to let the kids play. Also had a nice store/giftshop on the other side. The food from the food truck was reasonable and delicious.
Stopped by the FunkYard. It's a great place to get out and let the kids play. Tons to look at and the Jurassic Diner has amazing food.
This is a must stop if you are traveling out Route 66. Plan to spend about 30-60 minutes. Stop and stretch your legs. Lots of stuff to see outside for free. The double decker bus is cool. The characters playing music under the shelter beside the bus are funny. The World's Largest Belt Buckle is also there. The oddity museum inside has weird stuff. I didn't want to pay for myself so I sent my 9 and 11 year old through with our Go-Pro and when I watched the video I realized I probably should have accompanied them! Here's the video of our visit. https://youtu.be/o-SfFJT1UjM
This place has a great double decker bus!!! And they let you walk through it and go upstairs!!
Also the world’s largest belt buckle is here!!
A fun place to get out and stretch your legs!
Kind of the beat-down next door neighbor to the Uranus Fudge factory. There was nothing for us to see when we stopped but may be good if you had kids, they could find something to do while you hit the gift shop next door.
We had way too much fun here! When everyone in the store is laughing like middle school kids, you know it’s a good time. Pretty cool gifts, treats, apparel and gag gifts. Kid friendly even. It started pouring rain after we got there so made our way to the grab a hot dog and wait it out and there we found the worlds biggest belt buckle! Some of the stores were either being remodeled or new and not open yet it appeared so would’ve been better if more than only 2 stores were open but we still really enjoyed it.
Awesome place to stop and get some laughs in. Lots of gifts, candy and makes for great photos. Kid friendly.
It is a great stop! We enjoyed the billboards leading up to it too "the best fudge comes from Uranus". The 13 year old in all of us gets a chuckle for a while.
We laughed a lot here! The hamburgers are delicious. They are sold out of the little building by the bus, it looked more like just an ice cream shop at 1st glance. Definitely worth the stop.
Had a nice time hanging around here. We enjoyed the silly jokes. The sideshow was just okay. The escape room was a blast. The fudge was heavenly!!
