“The history of american movement”
From horse to horsepower educating our members and the general public in the history and science of transportation; to back financially and offer volunteer support to the development of the Museum of Transportation; and to assist in preservation and restoration of artifacts related to the museum's purpose. The Museum of Transportation is part of the St. Louis County Parks and Recreation Department. We raise funds for capital improvements, host special events, provide educational programming, and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Visitors' Center, Creation Station, and the retail shop, Boxcar Boutique.
