“Points of Interest in Safford, AZ”
From the intersection of Highway 70, east of Safford, travel 10 miles north on Highway 191 to Black Hills Rockhound Area. Follow the dirt road 2 miles to the center of the rockhound area.
This pin location is for the National Forest Service/Bureau of Land Management office. A BLM representative, Angie, was super helpful in not only finding the rockhound area but a fun byway drive through the Black Hills and a place to camp our RV for free (boondocking/dispersed camping). If you like the outdoors, stop by their office (M-F only) for help!
