Cute and well-appointed cabins with separate porches in a nice setting near Ruidoso's restaurants and ahopping. Downside is the busy and noisy Main Road nearby, leading to other lodging in the area. But compared with that other lodging, this appears to be a good choice. (A photo attached to this listing is misleading. It shows rather ramshackle cabins with a barren, dirt parking area. This place is much nicer and tidier, as another image shows.)

This was one of my favorite places to stay on my southwest roadtrip. The cabin was very well furnished, had an amazing fireplace and a massive whirlpool bathtub. It was secluded and it was a really quick walk to the river.
