“Stand in the middle!”
Southeast corner, intersection of of US 2 and ND 3. The modest monument marking the Geographical Center of North America is located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 2 and North Dakota Highway 3 in Rugby, North Dakota. And, less than a tenth of a mile from the monument, you'll find Prairie Village Museum.
Another stop meant pretty much only for people on a road trip. Stop, stretch your legs, take a picture, rest your eyes, visit the museum nearby, and just enjoy it.
Stopped here on our way from Grand Forks , ND to Swift Current, SK. An interesting place to stop and stretch your legs, snap a selfie, and carry on. Conveniently right off the HWY, no need to track it down.
In the middle of Rugby, close to the highway, a good spot to stop & stretch your legs. If you are interested in oddball attractions, road trips in general, or geographical anomalies, this is a perfect stop.
Ever wanted to touch base with geographical centres, extremities, both oceans, northernmost/southernmost tips, etc.? Well, this is one to strike off your list.
