Very clean, well kept, friendly staff, best laundry only took one cycle in dryer, yay! We had hot dry windy days, central location to do day trips to Carlsbad, Ruidoso!
If one word could sum up this RV park, it would have to be “windy.” Aside from that, it’s an all around pleasant (if in no way scenic) park as private ones go. The staff is very pleasant and doesn’t mind chatting you up for awhile if you’re interested, even if you’re not actually. The park itself is clean and borders a senior citizens mobile home park, complete with the quiet that comes with such a setting.
Top notch bathrooms and laundry mat, and if you’re lucky enough to get one of only two back in spots (a plethora of drive thrus await, of course), then you’ll also be privy to the very limited but quite fast WiFi connection.
So that’s the park.
Now the city of Roswell itself…well, not so much what I’d expected, having been a fan of the teen drama in college, I expected a sleepy little town, maybe some tumbleweed, definitely a walkable little community. Not so, my friends, so not. It’s basically 90% strip mall and if you’re looking for a restaurant that doesn’t specialize in Mexican food, the only option we were able to find was Portofino’s Italian, which despite the sign out front — a slice of pizza with some type of Arabic cheese writing symbols — is an exceptional little eatery, cheap and tasty. The city has it’s due amount of UFO businesses, however these aren’t strictly limited to things UFO-related. For example, while there is a UFO museum where you can presumably see a bunch of plastic alien skulls or something, the majority of these extra terrestrialized shops bear names such as UFO Self Storage or Out of this World Tax Services.

We stayed in the new area in the back. Quiet and clean. Nothing green, all concrete and gravel. Clean bathhouse and laundry.
Site was tight but we didn't have neighbors most of the time, level, all utilities worked well, decent water pressure.
One major ding was the super bright lights on all night. Our black out shades kept most of it out, but way over the top. WiFi sporadic and weak.
We were in town to take care of family matters and it was perfect for that. Otherwise, not a place to hang out - no picnic table or fire ring.

We just stayed at Town and Country RV Park for a week, $169 total, in Roswell, NM. A really nice park on the outskirts of town but only 5-7 minutes from downtown.
Sites are large, most are pull-thru, 50 amp FHU, concrete roads throughout, laundry, showers, restrooms, nice dog run, very clean & well kept. Staff is very accommodating, helpful & pleasant.
There are 2 sections, front & back. These are pictures of the back where we stayed.

This was one of the most clean parks we've been in this year. Sites were wide, long and very easy to get into. Interior roads were well paved and all hookups appeared to be new. The park is located at the southern end of town and easy to find. Check in was easy (we didn't have a reservation!) and the owner was super friendly.
Roswell is a hoot. Be sure to wear your Tin Foil hat when you visit the McDonalds (the only one with a space ship theme), the International UFO Museum, and the Alien Zone. Oh, come on, you know you want to!

Nice layout and easy to navigate. We stayed here for one night while we visited Roswell. The staff were very friendly and asked about any preferences when assigning us a spot. Clean laundry and restrooms, although the one and only laundry room is a little bit of a walk from the “new area” where we were. Not a big deal.
Nice level gravel sites with pavement drives, good water and nice clean power. They even have cable, WiFi, and Direct TV (if you’re setup for it, which we are not)
They are located at the south end of town, about 5 mins from the tourist shops in the middle of Roswell.
We would definitely stay here again! I just wish Roswell had more to offer so we had a reason to stay longer!

We stayed in the newer part of the park and our experience is based off of that. The older part is still in good shape but is closer to a main road so it would be louder.
First off, the staff were very nice and helpful. We had a LOT of mail being delivered over our time and regardless of how many times we offered to come pick it up, they delivered.
The bathrooms and laundry areas were immaculate and had good water pressure.
There is a pool but we stayed in October and it’s not heated so no swimming.
The sites are gravel and are large enough to accommodate just about any size of RV/trailer. The only gripe we had is the sites are set up so that you step out your door and face your neighbor. Regardless, the sites are wide so you have some space in between.
Park WiFi was ok but we had such great coverage with our Verizon MiFi that we didn’t use it.
The park is located a on the south side of town so you have about a 10-15 min drive to some of the shopping and restaurants. Regardless, we wouldn’t even look at staying anywhere else if we come back to Roswell.

Half of the park is a permanent mobile home park, and it is separate. We were in the back (new section). It was easy to get to and about 10 minutes from the attractions. As one said, you do park facing your neighbors front door.
Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, clean park. We were given 6 pages of rules 😳
