“Look for the giant orange!”
This park preserves some of the rapidly vanishing cultural landscape of the citrus industry and tells the story of California's citrus industry. Following the introduction of two navel orange trees to Southern California in 1873, hundreds of people flocked to California hoping to make it rich in citrus - the state's "second Gold Rush".
