Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on June 10, 2023Little Farm on the River RV Park is a beautiful RV Park. We stayed at both the upper and lower parts of the RV park. It’s clean and very well maintained. The office staff is the problem. They have an antiquated system that no one seems to know how to book anything. If you can get booked in and don’t need to ever go in the office for anything you’ll be fine. The pool is clean and the sites have few issues and Roy will do everything and anything to make it right. We enjoyed our stay and met some wonderful people… We rented a golf cart that was a hassle in itself because it has to be booked in the office. I swear they can’t walk and chew gum. Like I said, get checked in and stay as far away from the office as possible and you’ll have a wonderful stay!
Really like the river sites, will fit any size rig

We enjoyed staying here. Easy enough to get to, about 30 minutes off the interstate. They have an upper and a lower camp ground. Upper one is normally more families due to the pool and playground being there. Lower campground is long term campers and weekend campers. Usually quieter and peaceful. Everyone was very friendly. They do rent golf carts if you want one. Quite a few carts are used. We were in a 32 foot class C and had plenty of room between sites.

Love the sites right on the river. We could sit and watch the river traffic. Very relaxing.

This place seemed like it had potential at some point, but it is run down and the facilities were always filthy. I will add some pictures, if I can, but I will spare you the toilet pics that show every single toilet "blown up". There were rat droppings in the bathroom, giant hair balls and trash in the showers. Things stay that way for days or weeks! Staff was unhelpful and unconcerned and it did not improve even after multiple complaints. Internet went out for weeks at a time. The hot water in the bath house near us went out and took weeks to get repaired. The other bathroom was far away and was also always filthy. Cell service was not great in parts of the campground. Our site was flooded half the time.

The sites and property need some work. The playground didn’t meet the safety expectations of my wife. I would come back though.

Beautiful setting and quiet! Brenda was waiting for us when we arrived and was very cordial. We had a pull- thru with FHU. 50 amp power and voltage was very good. Lots are gravel but are very level. We will put this campground our list when traveling South from Michigan.

This is a great campground. One of our favorites. It is very clean and well run. Friendly staff and lots of activities. There are two campsite sections with not much shade in either, One with sites in the upper area where the activities, office, pool, etc. are located and the other area is the riverfront section with sites down right on the Ohio River. We by far prefer the riverfront sites as they are much larger, quieter, laid back and of course right on the river and it's fun watching the barges and other activity on the river, however, that is my preference and opinion because a co-worker of mine prefers the upper section campsites due to the convenience to the activities, etc. Another neat thing about this campground, if you're a gambler they're right down the street from the Rising Star Casino which is also located there in Rising Sun, IN. They even have a shuttle service to take you to and from the casino. We are not gamblers but as we all know casinos have awesome buffets so we like to go there for that. There is also a grocery store down just passed the casino. There is not too much else around there in the immediate area, though. The location is not near any major interstates but the campground is worth the effort to get there. It is accessible, though, taking SR 50 to SR 56 which is scenic and follows along the Ohio river and also passes through Lawrenceburg, IN when you first exit off on I-275. Another casino, Hollywood Casino is located in Lawrenceburg. There is a boat ramp to the river located on site at Little Farm. Little Farm on the River has fantastic Halloween camping every weekend through the month of October and some friends go to that every year. We're not much into Halloween ourselves. The campground is open year 'round but only the upper section. Phone reception on our Verizon android phones is not great. We usually get to Little Farm on the River 1 - 3 times per season.
