We also have several animals that have been born at our facility from parents that were brought to us as rescues or re-homes. We offer Curriculum Based School Presentations as well as fun Wildlife Presentations for Parties and Events, and Displays at Public or Corporate Functions, or just visit us for the day. We also offer exciting Day Camps with hands-on wildlife encounters, as well as fun environmental games and activities.  When you visit us you can.....Hug a Kangaroo, Hold an Alligator, Play with Wolves, Pet a Sloth, and more! If you're looking for a non-profit animal refuge, where you can not only get the chance to interact and learn about 50 different exotic wildlife, but you get to pet a sloth, look no further!

Safari Edventure is home to tons of well cared for, rehabilitated and rescued animals, and is an education facility that teaches both children and adults about the importance of caring for the animal kingdom. They have been functioning for 38 years doing what they do best, teaching us about the importance of animal conservation.

The cost to enter is very low, and every cent goes towards feeding, taking care of, and keeping the animals happy, healthy, and safe. If you're interested they are always looking for volunteers, or donations... plus, you'll get to pet all the sloths you want!

this was quite the experience! highly recommend it. we got the interact with animals i never thought i’d have a chance to meet! and, yes, these animals are rescues.

just a small note if you do go, while this was not the case in the majority of animals, there were a few that were clearly showing signs of distress - overgrooming and, in particular, a raccoon was pacing unlike anything ive ever seen before back and forth in his cage. however, it was very clear that the people running it cared about animals and wanted to do right by them, but was more about a lack of information.

We visited Safari Edventure in August 2015 and had a blast! You can feed the lemurs and go in a cage with Wolves and kangaroos. It was incredibly clean and the animals were well taken care of. Make sure to stay for the show where you can hold/pet snakes and tarantulas (if you're into that sort of thing...) and a hedgehog and a sloth and many more animals! The show is the best part. We really recommend going here! All the money goes towards care and upkeep of the rescued animals.
