“rest and relax with nature”
Stay in our log cabins - which sleep up to six people. Level, 24' x 80' Pull-Thrus 30 and 50 amp Service. There are full hookups with 35 Cable Channels. Electric Only Sites available, and there is free WiFi. Take advantage of our large grassy tenting areas. Sorry, no hookup sites.
My husband and I stopped for 1 night halfway through a 2000 mile trip home, I chose this because it coincided with our need to stop and sleep..the staff was very friendly, and the showers and bathrooms were as well...however if u are looking for any kind of a pretty view this isn't for you. It's basically a massive gravel lot with hook ups. If u are looking for a place close to I-80 and reasonable prices...
We have stayed here at least 4 times in 3 years. Very clean, nice people. Picture number 2 is more representative of the RV park.
The picture of the RV in the trees on this site is hilarious, as there are no trees at this RV park. I would upload a picture like I do for RV park reviews and Google, but with the silly picture size limit on this website, I'm not going to bother to condense a picture just to post here. Good one-night campground. Easy to get to off I-80 but road noise was not bad. Gravel parking lot – not any grass in sight. Reminded me of the typical RV park on the Alaska highway. Online reservation was easy. It does fill up at night, so I would recommend a reservation. Check-in was easy, and staff was friendly. Utilities were fine, and site was level. However, despite the gravel, there were muddy low points here and there, including right next to our front door. WiFi was awful. Roads are very wide so easy exit the next morning. We stayed in site #7, which was a 50 amp site with cable. We didn’t try the cable – wide open sight to Dish satellites so no problem with that. Plenty long for our 38’ motorhome plus Jeep in tow. Would definitely stay again for a one-night stopover.
What a beautiful place to stay. We just stayed overnight, but arrived around 7:30 and enjoyed the beautiful sunset. It’s clean, pull-thrus and friendly staff. You can hear the train and road traffic, but at night it’s not bad. Definitely worth it!
