Do not take Irish Mountain Road to get to the falls. It is a dirt road that is steep, slick and bumpy.
The water falls are awesome.
Amazing!!!! It is so peaceful, so powerful, so beautiful. First let me say the park is very well kept. Everything is clean including the bathrooms. The upkeep is wonderful.
Now on to the good stuff...we walked the path around and WOW is all that comes to mind. We saw a family of deer just having dinner. Went to the lookout, Amazing. A MUST DO!!

The widest waterfall on the New River spans the distance between two islands. You can get up close to the falls and hike around the islands.
