“A great place for an intimate setting”
The City of Provo created a park that incorporates the year-round South Fork Creek as a major feature. South Fork Park has a nice mix of individual picnic tables, fire pits, and group pavilions. The convenience of permanent restrooms, with running water and electricity, make a day-outing here a pleasant excursion. Surrounding the park is a beautiful riparian forest including oak, box-elder, and maples and the bubbling stream has plenty of fish and other aquatic life to watch and enjoy. "A great place for an intimate setting - even with other park goers walking around in the background, their presence created a sweet vibe that made the park come alive in a lovely way. The crystal creek babbling beside us and the view of Mt. Timpanogos, the breezes through the trees and falling leaves made for a dreamy afternoon." ~ A Visitor The tables, fire grates, and covered group sites make inviting spots for relaxing, enjoying an afternoon picnic, or hosting a cookout. With its higher elevation, mountain shade, and cooler temperatures, it’s easy to see why South Fork Park makes a popular summer escape.
