The Presque Isle Township Museum Society exists to collect, preserve, enhance and display key elements and memorabilia of the rich Great Lakes Maritime history of the Presque Isle area, to inform and educate the local, state, national and international public and to engage in activities that contribute to the well being of our community. Climb the tallest lighthouse on the Great Lakes that is open to the public. Visit the fully restored 1905 Keeper's House to see how the keeper's family lived. Finally, climb & explore the haunted 1840 lighthouse and view its many artifacts. Open from early May to the end of October. Old & New Presque Isle Lighthouse Hours: 9 am to 6 pm daily 1905 Keeper's House/Museum Hours: Mon thru Sat 10 am to 7 pm & Sun 1 pm to 5 pm
