“Shopping in Portland, OR”
Portland Saturday Market is celebrating its 42nd season in 2015. PSM is the Rose City’s largest outdoor arts and craft market. Operating every Saturday and Sunday from March through December 24th, our market offers 252 spaces for local artisans to show their skills and sell their handmade wares.
While there are lots of great vendors here, this is not the place to go if you hate crowds. This place gets packed and makes it hard to walk around. The best time to go is early in the morning right when the vendors open up.
There's so much to see and do here. I bought an artist made Portland hoodie. It's a great stop for lunch too with a lot of ethnic food choices and local beers.
So fun! It spreads back into the city and is full of talented, eclectic artists. Great food options. Even a balloon artist that made my niece so happy! Worth negotiating the parking, for sure!
ACTUAL address per the Market's website is 2 SW Naito Parkway, Portland, OR 97204. It's right next to the Burnside bridge by the river. Do not trust the map location that this site has.
It's no wonder Portland Saturday Market is one of Portland's top 10 attractions. Established in 1974, Portland Saturday Market is the largest outdoor arts and crafts market in continuous operation in the United States. Filled with the colors and flavors of more than 300 artisans of all ages, you'll find an array of quality arts and crafts, baked goods to take home and 26 food booths in our International Food Court. Shop for fine arts and crafts from the hands of the creator - all handcrafted items are sold by the artisan here at Portland Saturday Market. Rain or shine, the Market opens every Saturday and Sunday for shopping and just plain fun from March until Christmas Eve. The market is held every Saturday in the historic Ankeny Park.
