“a down home country farm”
On our spring farm tours we give a farm talk, tour the milk barn, plant pumpkins, view the farm animals, go on a hayride, and check out the bees making honey. We have active bee hives here at the farm. Our bees have the important job of polinating our pumpkins and apple trees. Bees are very intereseting creatures, and we give a short talk on thier lifespans and niche in the natural world. On the tour your group will visit our milk barn that is over 100 years old. The farm used to be a century dairy farm. The old equipment is still in place in the milking parlor, and some of it still works! Your group will be amazed at the turn of the century technology that was used on this old dairy farm. We also take you to visit and feed our calves.
