“7 stories theather screen”
Just wait 'til you check out this cool spot, the loftiest place to play pool and drink a beer in all the land. Step inside and have a gander up, waaaaay up — this hidden room behind the Bagdad Theater's screen stretches an incredible seven stories from floor to ceiling! From 1930s vaudeville behind-the-scenes area to 1970s arthouse and hippie hangout, this place has a great history. We renovated it from top to bottom to become Hawthorne's most happening spot to play a round or two of 8-ball, relax before or after a movie or just stop by for a beer. And don't miss the huge 20-by-20-foot mural depicting the various tales, characters and memories from the Bagdad since its opening in 1927, painted by our own McMenamins artists.
