“eat, drink and be merry!”

Allagash Brewing Company started in 1995, as a one-man operation in a small space on the outskirts of Portland, Maine. Founder Rob Tod had worked in a brewery setting before and recognized a void within the craft brewing movement. While both German and British styles had become prevalent throughout the U.S., the ever-creative Belgian-styles were very difficult to find. Through his travels, Tod had sampled many of these unique beers and felt that the flavors and traditions of Belgium needed to be shared with the American drinking public. He designed a small 15-barrel brewhouse, gathered the finest array of authentic raw materials and began his quest towards the production of traditional Belgian style ales. Rob sold his first batch of beer in the summer of 1995.

Four stars on five I did enjoy my tour. Everything was Pretty interesting and Informative

Since I really don't know much about beer all the information that was given. Was pretty Cool to know

Since I am A Beer Drinker

A beer lover From The moment I got to the first person. Who got my ID and got my hand stamped?

I was Receive Like big Guest with the smile on the employees face and everything.

People were nice. Staff were nice. Customers were nice tourist wasn't were nice.

Everyone was nice.

Let's now talk about the beer. Cuz it's a brewery, right? So for almost six buck. You got to have the pleasure to visit the brewery meet the staff and also enjoy five little glasses of different beers. That we're brood inside the place.

My favorite one The first one the white one. Tasty Easy to drink Perfect for summer day Perfect everyday

Got to mention. They said there were a special beer. And I didn't taste it. So I'm going to have to go back. And have a try on the cake flavored beer. In one word Or two or three If you have to visit a place in Portland, Maine You should spend your 6 bucks on that place. And for sure, you're going to have Ashley's. One hour and a half of joy and pleasure. To discover things that you didn't know before and to taste. Beers you never Tasted before

I want to say thanks to the people from Allagash again.

I'll be back and I'll bring someone with me to discover the place.

The brew tour is top notch. Very informative and it's hard to beat free beer. Hear the story of how Allaghash White Beer came to be. You'll go home wanting to learn more about beer as you'll try beers they don't sell elsewhere. The tour will test your senses and expand your beer trivia.

This is a great brewery and the tour was informative and fun, with a tasting room at the end. The tour-lanyards all have ridiculous puns on them as well so A+ in my book :P
