“Movie House & Performance Center”
Originally built in 1927 as a vaudeville theater, The Common Man family in NH recently renovated & reopened the 475 seat theater as an intimate state-of-the-art venue for live performances & movies. The Monkey strives to bring new life to Main Street and renew the cultural beat to the area, by offering a variety of live musical performances, dance, comedy, and movies. The Monkey also enhances each guest’s experience by offering a full food and beverage menu courtesy of The Common Man family of restaurants. The former Plymouth Theatre on Main Street in downtown Plymouth, New Hampshire stood defunct for years until The Common Man owner Alex Ray purchased it in 2009. The 1920's era theater was most recently a cinema until its re-opening in December as The Flying Monkey Movie House & Performance Center.
