Beware of mosquitos!! (Mid June is when we visited)
Was not super impressed with this state park campground. Sites were close together and not private. I think we could see at least 5 other picnic tables/fire rings from where we sat. The positive was there were a couple of folks playing guitars at their sites, which added a nice ambiance.
Very close access to the lake, but the dock felt like it was about to collapse into the water and the mosquitos were relentless. Would not swim at the water access, as it was weedy and looked prime for leeches.
Positive is it was about a mile bike ride to access to the Trail of the CDA, which was a fun ride for the afternoon.
Overall would probably not return here, mostly due to the mosquitos, and poor beach area.
