The Release the Fear statue in Phoenix, created in part using about 8,000 pounds of metal from revolver chambers, receivers and shotgun barrels, stands as a symbol for gun control in the US, where recent mass shootings have shaken the nation. MISSION: To counter the effects of violence in our communities by turning fear, anger and hate into acceptance hope and self-empowerment by bridging endless possibilities through the creative process.
So you can drive by and see this large beautiful sculpture. It is on the side of a busy, unremarkable intersection. Cool if your in the area getting hotdogs from short leash.
