Friendly Service but outdated!

Me and my friend is doing a road trip from Boston to Los Angeles and Philadelphia was our first stop and we decided to stay at the Renaissance. Although we had a late check in around 11pm, the front desk staff was very engaging, polite and was able to get us situated in our room quite fast. Me and my friend noticed immediately that there is a lot of foot traffic in the lobby area, which was a good sign that people preferred staying at this location but can also be bit disturbing considering that we had drove quite a bit and we wanted to just sleep to get on the road early the next day. Once we got up to the room we noticed a distinctive sound coming from the vents. We realized it was the other guest partying possibly in the other rooms that was connected to our air vent and we can hear them quite loud after we started to settle down. The temperature in the room was not bad but I prefer it to be at good 70 degrees (hence being a Southern California Native) it took a quite a while for the heat to turn on. (oh by the way it didn’t warm up.)

*A good renovation on their air vents and walls would definitely help this hotel*

Overall the hotel was OK!😏 for what we needed it to be, which was for a sleep and go.
