“Get close to the Pacific”
Pomponio State Beach is a beach located 12 miles (19 km) south of Half Moon Bay[1] and 3 miles (4.8 km) northwest of Pescadero off State Route 1, California, USA. This area provides access to miles of gently sloping, sandy beaches at the base of high sandstone bluffs. This day-use facility features a small lagoon, roaring surf - and a wide parking area, picnic tables, and barbecues. It was named after José Pomponio Lupugeym, a Native American outlaw.
It's a must-go place.
