Ole's sounds cool in theory, but our experience was just...okay. Restaurant was very dark at 6pm, and food was meh. We got the blooming onion which had parts that tasted moldy or that they'd gone bad, the chicken dinner which was kinda bland and the bbq ribs with sweet potato casserole and fries- the ribs were great and with a little butter, the casserole was perfection.
Huge portions, which was awesome, but service was really slow as we watched other tables who arrived after us receive food first. Not to mention the odd looks we received from other guests (which wasn't the restaurants fault) which we can really only chalk up to being from the west coast in a small town.
All in all our experience was ok, but it's definitely a strange stop that could take a good amount of time.
Food was great and so was the service.
