“Established 1840 in Patten”

Welcome to The Bradford House. The Bradford Farm was established in 1840, with the barn being built first followed by the main house. Today it is listed in the National Historic Registry. The massive 110 foot long barn is post and beam construction. The home features three levels above the rock and concrete cellar. This includes 4 beautiful, big, airy bedrooms, 3 complete bathrooms, front parlor, dining room that seats 24, main kitchen, summer kitchen, and private living quarters for the inn keepers. The farm sits on 17 acres of beautiful fields, lawns, flower gardens, and woods. The little village of Patten, has a population of just under a thousand and offers a variety of conveniences as well as several churches. The area is well known for wild life, Baxter State Park, and Mt. Katahdin. This is still known as The Great North Woods and boasts 1000's of miles of 4-wheeler roads, and groomed snowmobile trails. Fishing, hunting, camping, photography, nature trails, canoeing, and just enjoying unspoiled nature, is what we are all about.
