Executive Chef Fabrice Roux, a native of Laon, France, began his culinary career in Paris at landmarks such as Three Star Michelin Hotel Crillon, Fauchon and Two Star Michelin Gourmad Prunier. In the United States, Roux worked alongside Chef Denis Soriano at the Grand Cafe, San Francisco, and Chef Jean Joho at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant, Las Vegas. Chef Roux now applies his classical technique and culinary creativity in the service of contemporary Spanish & Latin American cuisine.
Joya is a nice change from the options on U Ave in PA. Everything I've ever tried has been wonderful, but it's not really the place for me. I'm not a big fan of tappas because I have a big appetite and the portions are pricey for what I feel you get. If you're going for a nice drink and light meal, great spot. It's especially nice when they open the windows and let in the fresh breeze.
Stopped here for drinks recently and had a great time hanging at the bar. Staff were super friendly for a place thats positioned as a bit chic and upscale, and my neighbors were loving the cocktails, but I was on the whisky that night :)
