Rising 8500 feet above the desert floor, the Palm Springs Tramway offers access to hiking and camping trips in this famous San Jacinto state park wilderness. Aboard the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, World’s Largest Rotating Tramcar, one can experience a breathtaking journey up the sheer cliffs of Chino Canyon. Begin the 10 minute ride at the Valley Station – elevation 2,643 ft. and end at the Mountain Station – elevation 8,516 ft. Aboard the World’s Largest Rotating Tramcar enjoy spectacular views of the desert below. Located just minutes from downtown Palm Springs.
