“Eco-Hostel and Tropical Farm retreat”
Hedonisia Hawaii is a sustainable community located in the volcanic rainforests of Puna, in East Hawaii. We offer affordable "green lodgings" for "ecotourists", backpackers and travelers who wish to experience a more down to earth and natural Hawaii than the concrete developed hotel tourism of Waikiki or Kona. We continually experiment with ecofriendly practices at our little community in Hawaii which makes us deliberately different from "normal" tourist resorts. Having only ten bed-spaces on 3.72 acres of land prevents us from becoming over-crowded. Our maximum population is 8 - 16 people which allows Guests and Volunteers quiet, privacy and space to enjoy our little piece of Hawaii paradise. At Hedonisia, the Community Facilities are all designed for the tropical environment we live in. Common facilities include a Solar Private Garden Shower, Geothermal electricity, Eco- Laundry, Free Landline Telephone, Wifi and our well photographed Eco-Toilet-with-a-Garden View! It's jungle style but hardly roughing it! On the property we also have a nature-trail you can explore that descends into our own volcanic crater. If you only wish to stay at Hedonisia Eco-Hostel for a few nights and know your dates of travel you can go directly to the Hedonisia Quick Email Inquiry Form to request a price quote and availability info.
