Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on September 21, 2019This is a small campground in an Iowa State Park. Sites are well shaded and surrounded by woods to the west and a drop to the river on the east. DNR staff here were very helpful and friendly and even provided some firewood for free. We did get kicked out a night early because of flooding but DNR staff was very accommodating and offered to set up sites at other campgrounds or give a refund.

Nice area, most sites are really better suited for campers. Site 15 was definitely one of those. It's nice, clean facilities and lots of shade. I noticed site 13 would be a great tent site, and will try for that one next time. No cell service. None. No AT&T. No Verizon.

We came here just to pull off for the night and extended our time for 3 days. This was such an exceptional park.
