“weird, quirky and odd”
“Take a one-hour tour through the Orlando Odditorium and view strange exhibits and oddities secured by the museums founder, Robert Ripley, who traveled to 198 countries and was known as the ‘modern Marco Polo.’ View such wonders as a two-headed calf, a Rolls Royce made from a million matchsticks, shrunken head, a piece of the Berlin Wall, four-eyed man, cannibal dinosaur, Mona Lisa made out of toast, Egyptian mummy, huge portrait of Van Gogh made from 3,000 postcards and other assorted oddities and illusions.” Experience one amazingly unique attraction. RipleyÕs Believe It or Not! Odditorium in Orlando, Florida. Our 10,000 sq ft location actually looks like it's falling into a sinkhole! The only place in Orlando where you'll find shrunken heads, an authentic vampire killing kit, a shooting gallery, and a wild spinning vortex tunnel.
Wherever it is located, Ripley's is always a fun and interesting place to visit. The one in Orlando was not that different from those that I have already gone to. But still, the whole place was lively and very quirky. Lots of odd finds in it, too! There are some hands on exhibits that kids would definitely enjoy. They had some stuff that needed intellectual thinking which made the tour worthwhile. Exhibits were updated, which was a really big plus for me. Lots of fun and a lot of rooms to see! Would go back if they would be putting up more exhibits in the future.
Very fun. My 9 year old loves Ripley books and we always go to the Odditoriums when we are near them on vacation.
