These gardens commemorate the site of where 600 Confederate soldiers temporarily held off the Union Army in 1865.
Beautiful place to get out and stretch you legs! No picnic tables, but we did eat lunch on a park bench. Beautiful flowers and trees to explore. The bathrooms weren’t the cleanest, but weren’t the worst either.
Our son enjoyed running around the path and we enjoyed getting off the interstate for a bit!
