“the name says it all...”
Somewhere north of Interstate 64, in a right turn off the highway, between Richmond and Charlottesville, VA. In the midst of beautiful Virginia farm country and not far up the road from St. Isadore the Farmer Catholic Church. You will find, in Orange, VA, the largest Nutcracker Head you have ever seen. A converted oil/tar tank was painted and dressed by Bob Langford.
Great pit stop when you're in the area. Makes for a good photo op.
This was located in a very small town behind a gas station. There were signs all over the place that said no trespassing, etc. With that said, no one bothered us when we took pictures and it's a pretty cool out of the norm photo op if you happen to be in the area. I wouldn't make a special trip for this though.
My grandson enjoyed this photo opp.
