“drive. hike. explore”
Drive. Hike. Explore. Wildlife Safari Park is a four mile, drive-through North American wildlife adventure. You will feel like you are on an actual safari, coming face-to-face with North American plants and animals such as elk, white-tailed deer, bison and waterfowl. Four American elk calves and five grey wolf pups are making their debut at Wildlife Safari Park. The elk calves were born toward the end of June and can be seen with their mothers at Bison Plains.
Don't miss seeing the animals! Conveniently located right off the interstate as you cross the country. Since we couldn't go to the Omaha Zoo with our dog, we picked this instead. As we slowly drove the route we could pull over and watch and photograph the animals right from our car. Our dog was as interested in watching the bison, deer, and the birds as we were. The gift shop and restrooms are open, but bring a mask. We had a warm and sunny day in November that made the trip and the photos special.
I would definitely make the stop. It was awesome!!
Best money spent yet. Amazing!!!
Great outside time with family. Kids enjoyed being able to get out of car at petting zoo. Several hikes to choose from. Good exercise and break time during road trip. Would have enjoyed seeing a bear or wolf. Did see all other wildlife experience offered. Affordable experience for large family.
We went when it was cold but saw most of the animals.
7.50 per adult and less for kids. It took us about 2 hours total to go through, including the walking area. My teenage boys liked it as much as I did, our only complaint being the poor bear looked way too hot. My heart was so sad for him.
This was a pretty fun stop. The day we went was 94 so we didn’t take the hike to see the wolves. But it was worth the stop to see some animals and to let the toddler out of her seat.
