“Relax into timeless waters”
Our legendary waters have been soothing body, mind and spirit naturally for centuries. In the 1500's the Spaniard, in their quest for gold and the Fountain of Youth, discovered the unusual mineral springs in Ojo Caliente, New Mexico. One explorer's record cites, "The greatest treasure that I found these people to possess are hot springs which burst out at the foot of a mountain...so powerful are the chemicals contained in this water that the inhabitants believe that they were given to them by their gods. These Springs I have named Ojo Caliente, or hot eye." Combining a soak in our healing waters with one of our natural spa treatments provides the ultimate relaxing experience for both mind and body. The diverse spa menu offers a full array of soothing and restorative treatments that incorporate Ojo's private blend of wildcrafted herbs and oils. Step back into an unhurried era and rediscover the lost art of relaxing. Ojo Caliente offers an unpretentious and uncomplicated atmosphere with a variety of lodging accommodations, including new enchanting suites and charming cottages, the historic hotel and private homes. All lodging, with the exception of the RV and Camping Park, includes access to mineral pools plus our steam and sauna. We suggest that you make reservations for spa treatments and private outdoor pools before you arrive.

Campground not maintained well and seems to have permanent residents. Very expensive for site and services. Co-Ed bathroom facilities with security lock, do they have a problem there? Purchased hot springs pass and was treated as second class citizen when using pass the next morning. Will not return

Due to a fire last summer the whole area is closed (including camp ground) until further notice.
We loved having access to the hot springs and hiking trails form the campground. Some of the sites are small and the hook-ups are on the wrong side. The dump is not included in the nightly rate and costs $21.50. We did not have any cell service and the wifi was 50mbps at best.

Stayed here for a weekend, the spa is incredible and a great way to spend a weekend. You get 20%off day passes when staying at the campground. Lots of trails and the restaurant and wine bar are nice. The campground itself is tight and the pedestals are off. Dumping is extra. There is a bathroom and shower but I didn’t check it out. There is a creek nearby which sounds lovely at night and lots of beautiful birdsong in the morning. Quiet at night for good nights sleep. Cell service very low Verizon 3 bars 3g extended and no service on T mobile. Not a space to stay for a workweek for digital nomads but a great stop for a luxurious weekend.

When you've been boondocking in the desert long enough that even your soul feels sandblasted and you can't remember what it's like to see water, green plants, and flowers, this oasis will bring you back to life. It's probably pretty great even when you haven't spent the winter in the desert.
Pros:
* The resort is the entire reason to come, and if you can't tell, I think it's wonderful.
* The campground itself is really quite nice, surrounded by trees and very peaceful. Most sites have a lot of privacy (especially the ones for smaller RVs).
* The campground showers are clean and have plenty of hot water.
* It's incredibly peaceful - people in the pool area are asked to keep phones silenced and voices at whisper-level (and it was enforced kindly). The entire place has a peaceful & friendly vibe.
* So many options - each of the 9 different pools has a different temperature and vibe, so you can migrate between pools, the mud station, and 2 different saunas and never get bored. The pool temps range from 80 degrees to "fire cannot kill a dragon."
* Nice places to walk - there's a well shaded dirt road near the river, and a lot of (less shaded) trails around.
* Cool vintage airstream trailers that can be rented, a lot of rooms as well
* The yoga classes are great, and the morning classes are free (make sure you sign up for them).
* The grounds are lovely and well-thought. There are so many flowers, trees, nice places to sit and walk.
Meh:
* It's pricey, but worth it if you love hot springs. Pool days, gift shop, dump station, etc can all add up.
* I thought the restaurant was just ok.
* The campground wasn't full and I was able to extend my stay, but the spa treatments were all booked up.
Cons:
* Probably not a great place to throw a boisterous party
* Like others have said, I wouldn't bring a large RV here
* Between wifi, Verizon, and AT&T, internet access was ok during the week but not great on weekends. Starlink won't be great due to the tall trees & hills around the campground.
I stayed here in early June 2022.

If you are looking for somewhere to stop, rest and rejuvenate this is the place. The soaking springs were unbelievable. The spa was much needed. Dinner and bar was excellent. The staff did a great job.
However, the campground needs some work. Not the most aesthetically appealing to the eyes. A lot of “stuff” around that could be cleaned up and straightened up. The camp sights are compact. No sewer hook up. You have to pay $20 to dump. Probably the biggest need, for over 20 something sights there is ONE communal bathroom with ONE shower. Had to wait in line to take a shower. So, no sewer hook up, one shower makes it a project of planning your bathroom experience.

We spent the night here last October. Get there and set up early enough to spend the rest of the day at the resort. Weekdays just $20 for all access to hot pools and mud baths. Restaurant and massage available. Our site was small and tucked away barely got the 20' Argosy in there. We were looking for shade. Almost all sites have electricity. Good hiking trails. Our 2 labs had a good time!

Campground is OK - what you're paying for is the easy access to the resort and spa. Sites are small and the hookups in our site were on the wrong side. Showers (two) were clean and had good pressure. Wifi was usable from the site (at least the one we had).
I enjoyed the weekday yoga + pool access for $27 + tax. I recommend the hiking trail to the Posi Pueblo site featuring lots of pottery sherds and views of Rio Ojo Caliente.
Use of dump station is $20 - even if you stay there which I think is a bit much.
No T-Mobile cell service; some AT&T coverage .

It looks like the RV camp is still under construction. Note that their maps indicate most of the sites are back in, but most of the sites have hookups at the left front corner or somewhere along the left side (looking into the site). Not such a problem from RV’s just pull in. But trailers may have an issue with some of the sites because of the location of the hook up relative to where they are on the trailer. Keep this in mind when scheduling your stay.
The sites are loose rocks and packed dirt and are not level, but ours was not far from level. Sites on the outer lanes seem to have a lot of room, while sites on the inner ring are narrow but have lot’s of vegetation to screen you from your neighbors. We are 34 feet long and were towing. We fit in site 11, but had to unhook because we had to pull in. Site 17 seems to be the best option for a long pull through and is near the creek.
We would definitely stay here again.
AT&T doesn’t exist here.
Spend the extra money and get a day pass to the pools then do some hiking. Perfect setting for both!
