The facility location is best suited for daily hiking excursions in the Adirondack High Peaks, since it is a short distance from some of the most renown or notable hiking areas in the state, and is only minutes from Exit 30 on the Route 87, Northway. Sharp Bridge Campground is located on the west shore of the Schroon River. Camping equipment from tents to 45' RVs can be accommodated. Campground offers a variety of recreational opportunities including: Canoe and boating, fishing, hiking, and bicycling. Campground features 40 campsites, accommodating all equipment from tents to 25' RVs, picnic area, showers, trailer dumping station.

Excellent campground, very accommodating caretaker, free firewood upon arrival, has all the basics - lots of flat space, table, fire pit, kindling all around, women’s restrooms were clean!
I am not sure about RVs, there may be a separate spot within the campground with hookups, the loop where I was everyone had cars+tent.
Update: I liked it so much I ended up staying for two extra nights (three total). I did find out there’s a separate loop for RVs and a dump station. Enjoy!

We have stayed at this location on 3 different occasions is always suitable for our hiking and camping needs. Only 2 showers which is tough when Campground is busy. Bathrooms ok. Showers need to be cleaned up some. Host very accommodating. Fire pits need some repairs.
