“Camping & RV in Wendover, NV”
With a panoramic mountain view and backing two of five casinos, the Wendover KOA has it all. Located just 10 miles from the world-famous Bonneville Salt Flats, where customized cars set land-speed records, you'll find excellent fishing, birdwatching, hiking and even scuba diving in the area. Whether you're attracted to the casinos or the wild mustang herds that frequent the area, or you're looking for an oasis at day's end, this is a place to kick back and relax. The Wendover KOA (Mountain time zone) is open year-round, with a seasonal heated outdoor pool, mini golf, a grocery and souvenir shop, laundry and much more. Enjoy large pull thru sites. This campground is big rig and pet friendly. Pool: Memorial Weekend - Labor Day Weekend. Max pull thru: 80 ft.
Gravel parking lot with hookups but very few trees. Goat-heads galore; make sure you clean out the bottoms of your shoes when you leave.
The only redeeming qualities was friendly staff and a clean pool.
Don't get me wrong, the lady at the front desk was super nice and the facilities were clean. But if we're just being honest, this is a parking lot next to a trailer community behind a casino. We fell asleep to the sounds of a fiesta (sounded super fun but not helpful for sleeping), were woken up in the middle of the night to a domestic disburse, and listened to the growing sounds of a cat from a ride in one of the nearby casinos on loop. It wasn't my favorite stay and we won't be back.
Tenting on sand and people coming and going in very early hours. Puppy park 5 stars. People nice.

Clean, friendly, and Helpful. We stayed late October and the park was almost empty :) We only used it for an over night stop over as we were passing through to Reno.
It's a great to spend the night if your goal is the salt flats.. It's about a mile from here to the flats, campsites are clean and parking is easy to find. There is plenty in the city of Wendover to keep you busy and even a couple casino's if you are in the mood.
