We really liked the location on the river. It was easy to get to. The neighborhood is a little iffy but there are services and a good strip of restaurants on Main St. Park is gated at 5 or 6 so be sure to call ahead if you plan on coming in after that. You can walk across the pedestrian bridge to get to the Clinton Library. Very cool to look out on the river and bridges. Though you are close to highway we didn't feel noise was a problem.

The advertised free wifi did not work very well from our spot or even most places in the park. Staff said they were working on fixing that. Bathrooms were strangely configured but fine. Layout is funky in that side by side spaces share hook ups so you are right on top of each other but with plenty of space on your other side.

Stayed here for one night in transit. Not impressed with location or sites. Staff seemed impatient. Rest rooms barely functional. Area around park seemed depressed. However, if you want to walk across to the museum, I don't think you could find a better place. I'll give this place another shot one day, but my initial impression was not so good.

Price was the Escapee RV Club member discount. They do Passport America but only if you make prior reservations. Park is right on the Arkansas River with a foot bridge over to Clinton's Presidential Library and the downtown area. The bridge is lit up at night in blue lights, very nice. Some of the sites are jammed together tightly, with the riverside sites having a little more elbow room. The restroom was usable but having some work done. The staff was not bubbly friendly by any stretch, but they got the job done. The library is a must see. The center sites were extremely long concrete pads, would probably accommodate the longest of rig/combinations.

Our price reflects passport america. We called the day before and we were able to use it (passport america is only their last row spots). This spot is in the perfect location for access to Little Rock. It is right on the river trails and literally next door to the Clinton Memorial Bridge that is a $10.5 million renovated pedestrian only bridge that will take you to the presidential library, river walk and the Riverwalk market. Part of the trail was under construction but you can do a 7 mile down and back or 14 mile loop. At night there is a fun light show that the bridge does as well.

They only have 2 washers and 2 dryers and it's $2/load. We went to the Fun Laundry something in town and it was even more expensive. Might want to wait until you are in another city to do laundry.

The river front sites are really nice and the one on the end is really private. It's a smaller park, and so backing into some of the spots can be difficult but there are RVs of all sizes. Actually it was mostly huge A classes. The pull through spots could have fit two of us! The passport america spots are in the back against the wall and have no outdoor space. Plus they have the very old school electrical/water/dump. Instead of it always being on the backside it was right out our front door. Not a huge fan of that but it was $11 and most of our time was inside or out on the trails. I think that the river front sides were still only $30/night. Don't quote me on that but I think so.

Favorite lunch spot: 3 Fold Dumpling and Noodle, Co. Something free to do. Old State House Museum. They are next door to each other.

I would stay again for sure if I was in the area but only if I could get the passport rate on the back spots.

First of all this is a Downtown RV Park so if you are looking for something other than a parking lot for RV's than go somewhere else. Access to the park is easy enough by taking the exit north of the RV Park and using Cypress Rd.

Once here there is a lot to explore by using the pedestrian bridges to walk across to River Market. The Arkansas River Bike Trail runs next to the RV Park and is very pleasant for any level of rider. Verizon Arena & Travelers Baseball park are all walking distance.

There is a significant amount of road noise from the highway and we kept the windows closed with the A/C on even though the weather was window open temperatures. In late March & Early April there was constant overturn with people often times only staying one night....probably snowbirds going north.

Verizon was the strongest here not surprising with the Verizon Arena visible from the RV park with Up & Down ~20 mbps. AT&T was spotty sometimes very good and other times uploads were unusable ... best speeds 15 mbps down & 2 mbps up. T-Mobile was not any better with uploads really suffering 15 mbps & 1 mbps up.

This is a great little no frills RV park right in Little Rock. The $11 rate reflects the Passport America price. The Passport America spots are in overflow: back-in with water and electric (provided by extension cord, no dedicated service docks). Passport America spots require reservations and cash.

The park is gated and right across from the Verizon Center. The nicest part of Little Rock? No. Did I feel unsafe? No. The gates close promptly at 6PM and don't re-open until the office staff comes in the next morning. There's a keypad to get in/out off hours. If you are going to arrive off hours be sure to call and get the code...or you won't get in!

Park is right on the Arkansas River and has a little grassy area on the water. A pedestrian bridge leaving from the park takes you to the Clinton Presidential Library and, just beyond that, the headquarters of Heifer International. Be sure to check out Heifer - great displays, a cafe, and a small working farm attached. There were baby goats when I visited.

The park was nearly full, primarily with Class A's and fifth wheels. It's right under the highway so expect to hear traffic throughout the night. Decent speed on four bars of Verizon.

Up against the river and between the 2 bridges in downtown Little Rock. Very neat location if you want a break from the woods. Walking distance to River market, Clinton museum/park and other downtown activities. Gated for security. Laundry on-site. Did not use facilities. Passport America price was $11 on the weekend.

We stayed in a river side site.

We love a good city campground - the closer to the 'happening' stuff, the better. This is one of those campgrounds. Barely a tree to be found on campground property! (Ok, there are a few near the river).

We loved our first week here so much that we extended our stay another week; after a week parked windshield to river, we secured another week in the site next to ours and ran our electric/sewer/water beneath the rig so that we could enjoy another week of bridge light shows and barges hauling stuff up an down the Arkansas River. Yeah, this park has those 'neighbor's front doors face each other set-ups'. I guess you don't have to look at sewage hoses that way.

The park staff does a great job of assigning sites based on where your rig's windows are so that you can view the river if possible. We snatched our second week at the last minute, so we were fine with finagling.

So, everything was great and awesome and not too terribly noisy for a city campground for the first week. We did some laundry at the campground (pay the front desk - so you don't need quarters! Woohoo! $2/machine), spent lots of evenings walking across one bridge or the other, completed long runs around the 15mile river loop that cross just outside the campground, etc. etc.

Sites are expertly level, hook-ups are easily accessed, and there is enough room in your site for your towed. Extra long pull-through sites available. Sites that are Passport America compatible aren't 'prime', but not horrid.

Anyways, we were extra happy here.

And then... ANTS. Ants came to camp with us. And they came furiously. Thank goodness they were the tiny non-bitey kind. But we don't want to share our home with ants.

After two days of attempting to combat ant super highways entering and exiting our rig looking for whatever it is that ants look for (1,000s of the little buggers!), we finally admitted defeat and left the park 2 days early. The battle was epic. We raised our levelers (figured out that's where they were crawling in) only to have the ants return in full force about 2 hours later via our electric cord. We killed them. We surrounded the rig in baking soda. We bleached. We vacuumed them. We tried to distract them with sugar hills near away from the rigs.

We lost. And we left.

When we walked into the office to let them know we'd be leaving, the nice lady at the desk knew exactly why we were going. She let us know that they have been working to eradicate the ants - even working with an exterminator. I guess they thought they had it handled, but then the weather warmed up enough again to get those ants going again.

A few days later, and a few miles down the road, we ran into a neighbor who was at Downtown Riverside while we were there. He gave us the details of the end of the battle (which we aborted): everyone he knew at the RV park got infested. To the point where the park began giving refunds and telling folks to leave and then calling folks with standing reservations to warn them/have them cancel the reservation.

I feel for this campground - they seem to really be trying to deal with the ant problem. And once they do - we'll be back. It's a great location. And not a terrible price for FHU right in the city. Since there aren't a ton of trees, I guess the ants add to the 'nature' feeling.

We were escaping Hurricane Irma. We live in Florida, and it was expected to be a severe storm. As it made its way up the state, it kept shifting northwest. We were trying to outrun it and decided to continue west until we felt safe long enough to park for a few days. We ended up in North Little Rock at the Downtown Riverside RV Park.

It's essentially a parking lot with full hook up sites. It's gated though and requires a security code to enter. We were in the back along the fence, so there was plenty of room for our 37 foot fifth wheel without infringing on the space of anyone else. It also made the backing in process much easier since there weren't any trees or close RVs to hit. They do have pull through sites, but we needed the cheapest possible.

This is truly a diamond in the rough. While the park itself may not be the most luxurious, it certainly has a million dollar view. It's right on the Arkansas River. It has views of downtown and the pedestrian bridge that takes you to their new library. There you'll find park benches and grassy knolls to sit and enjoy the river. Restaurants are close enough to walk. And, the Walmart Neighborhood Markets is maybe a 10-15 minute drive.

We initially booked it for 3 days. Although that was enough time for the storm to pass, there was a river at flood stage threatening to close the roadways. Not to mention the thousands of people trying to get home at the same time. We opted to stay the rest of the week until we could sort things out.

Even though they require a reservation with a hard departure date, they allowed us to stay recognizing that our last day was fluid. They were so gracious and easy to work with. We really appreciated their sensitivity during our time of need.

Oh, and when we first called, they only had one site available with the hookups on the wrong side. We turned it down, but a short time later they called back saying they had managed to rearrange a few things and get us hookups that would meet our needs. How's that for flexibility!

They also have a bathhouse and laundry facilities on site. We only used the laundry.

We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely stay again. It was quiet and clean, and we loved the security gate. Oh, the bridge even lights up at night and changes color so that was a bonus.

I believe we had both Verizon and AT&T cell coverage there, but AT&T was a little stronger signal.

Check Downtown Riverside out if you get a chance.
