“Jump inside the world's biggest box of Legos!”
LEGOLAND Discovery Center Atlanta is made up of a series of interactive features to immerse kids into a world where their imagination can run wild with creative inspiration at every turn. This kids attraction features a whole host of activities ranging from the Kingdom Quest ride to an amazing recreation of the local area’s most iconic buildings, the Center not only provides fun for LEGO fans young and old, but fantastic educational benefits too.
I am an AFOL (Adult Fan of Lego), and Legoland Discovery Centers are so rad. But, it bears mentioning that if you're planning on going to Legoland you have to bring a kid. According to Legoland's official policy: "Please be reminded LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston is a children's attraction. Adults must be accompanied by a child in order to enter the attraction. Please book into one of our exclusive Adult Nights, starting this Summer, if you wish to experience the attraction."
We went on a Tuesday afternoon and had one school group go through but it was otherwise decent in terms of being crowded. The rides were cute but my 5 year old most enjoyed the free build area with cars, and the indoor playground area. I wouldn't recommend the extra $$ for the walk through activity - it's stamping a little book and my kid was more interested in everything to do/see.
Tickets are timed and they only allow a limited number of people in each hour to help avoid over-crowding. You'll want to order online beforehand (bonus, it's cheaper online). Tickets are less after 4 pm, which means they expect crowds to diminish during that time.
